Garrett State Forest Receives first Happy Little Forest Health Grant
The Friends of Maryland State Forests and Parks provided a grant to the Maryland Forest Service to complete a restoration project in Garrett State Forest. The project will replenish red spruce and balsam fir on Piney Mountain
Saturday April 18th featuring live music, national celebrity and special giveaway

Your matching gift will support small grants to Maryland State Parks for projects focused on conservation, recreation and outdoor education. Twenty-two projects were completed in 2025.
